  • The “Sugar Burning Zone” (HR 144+): “During high-intensity exercise, your body panics and switches to its ’emergency fuel’—sugar. This is powerful for performance, but if you live your life here (fueled by stress and sugar), you are in a constant state of inefficient energy crisis.”

  • The Master Insight: “A metabolically healthy person can stay in the ‘fat-burning’ state for longer, even at higher heart rates.
